Theo Baylé (1912-1971)
 
Theo Baylé debuted as concert singer in 1936. In the forties he was first baritone at the "Dutch Opera". Later he joined for years the 'Vienna Opera Houses'. Guest appearances in various European countries and in the United States. He appeared in the premieres of Philomela (1950, H.Andriessen), and at Salzburg in: Penelope (1954, Liebermann), Irische Legende (1955, Egk). He also appeared many times as concert - and oratorio singer.
