Hubert Waber 1933

Hubert Waber sang some time at the 'Wiener Kammeroper'. He debuted in 1966 as Ramfis (Aïda) at the 'Zuid-Nederlandse Opera'. From 1967 he joined the 'Nederlandse Opera', where he appeared in roles as Don Pasquale and Osmin (Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Mozart). Further on his repertoire roles as Philips II (Don Carlos), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Méphistophéles (Faust), Warlaam (Boris Godoenov). Also guest appearances at a.o. the Opera of Dusseldorf. He also appeared as concert singer.
